The Waves Oceanfront Resort vacation cottages for are a great way to accommodate families and groups. Our cottages are either directly on the beach or a very short walk. Each cottage has a variety of amenities, and are available from 2 bedroom to 7 bedroom. You can see the location of the cottages by clicking the diagram at right, and see below for details on each cottage. Cottage reservations are not available online, please call us directly at 207-934-4949.

Ponce & Alcazar

2 Bedroom Cottages

Located on King Street, just a few steps from the beach, these two-bedroom cottages have a full kitchen, full bathroom, and a living room with pull out sleeper/ sofa. Although this cottage is not beachfront, the outdoor porch makes a great family gathering spot to enjoy the activities, sounds, and smells of the ocean. Other amenities include WIFI, complimentary coffee, unlimited local calls, air conditioning and cable television. Each bedroom contains one double bed. The cottage sleeps up to six people. Note: If needed, heat provided solely by single wall unit.

Each cottage includes:

Full kitchen, with microwave oven, stove, sink, coffee maker and refrigerator.
Cable television, wifi, bath with tub and shower
Partially air-conditioned, but does not have heat.

Located directly on the beach, these three-bedroom cottages have a full kitchen, a living room with pull out sleeper sofa, full bathroom, and a propane grill shared with the adjacent cottage. Enjoy the sea breeze while you relax in a wonderful screened-in porch which is great for gatherings. Views of the ocean are limited due to the beautiful protective dune, but here is truly where the sun meets sand, sea, and your toes! Other amenities include WIFI, complimentary coffee, unlimited local calls, air conditioning, and cable television. Master bedroom contains a queen bed while the other two bedrooms contain one double bed. The cottage sleeps up to eight people. Note: If needed, heat provided solely by single wall unit.

Governors Cottage

This cottage was once the family summer home of Frederick G. Payne a former Governor of Maine. Payne was born in 1904 in Lewiston and also served as a Mayor of Augusta, as well as a US Senator. Howard Hughes was his primary financier. In addition to his political public service, he served as a Captain in the Air Force during World War II.

This cottage includes:

Cottage has a full kitchen, with microwave oven, stove, sink, coffee maker and refrigerator.
Cottage has cable television.
Cottage is partially air-conditioned and has heat.
One full bathroom, one half bath
Cottage is rented by the week (Saturday – Saturday).

This rustic Maine cottage sits directly on Old Orchard Beach and is located beside the pool area. With seven bedrooms, a large living room, sun porch, dining room and sitting room, full kitchen with washer and dryer, one full bathroom on the first floor, and 1 1/2 bathrooms on second floor, and a wrap around porch. Planning a family reunion? In the short time that we have owned this cottage there have been a number of wonderful events that have taken place here.

Full kitchen, with microwave oven, stove, sink, coffee maker and refrigerator, cable television.
Partially air-conditioned on the first floor
Cottage is rented by the week, Saturday – Saturday in high seasons, nightly rental available spring and fall.
