There are a lot of great places to eat in OOB, whether you are looking for classic beach fare like burgers and fried fish, pub food, satisfying breakfast joints, or the iconic Maine lobster roll. We compiled a list of the ones that are all highly recommended on TripAdvisor (and most are within walking distance of Waves!).

9 minute walk OR 2 minute drive – By far the best lobster sandwich/roll I have ever eaten. I think it was the crescent roll and the incredible amount of fresh lobster. Filet mignon was tender and done perfectly. Mussels – the sauce was some of the best I ever had. The lobster omelette was also very good. GET THE LOBSTER SANDWICH. – Jack M. Yummy espresso martinis. 3 minute walk OR 1 minute drive. The corn/clam chowder is spiced up a bit and hits the spot. Two of us had bison meatloaf. It was very good. The other two in our party had steamed lobster and pan-seared scallops. Both were very good and made an attractive plate. The orange rolls are unique and tasty. – qsclock1965 The rouille was divine. 11 minute walk OR 3 minute drive. My wife got twin lobsters, I got whole belly clams. The food was very good and the service was top notch. – IrozUpstateNewYork. I had the stuffed lobster and my wife had the haddock and chips, washed down with a bargain rice beer. A really great night out for a great price. – FrankJ123. They had a lobster roll with mayo on the menu but I asked if they would make me a hot buttered lobster roll instead and they said absolutely and it was huge and delicious. 4 minute drive – My husband ordered beef kao pad (Thai fried rice), I chose panang curry with pork, and our grandson had beef and vegetable stir-fry. It was spot on. – Vickie M. 5 minute walk OR 1 minute drive- They make sure to keep everyone hydrated with continuous cups of ice water to refresh. The food I had along with my six friends was prepared perfectly – nachos, Hawaiian Thai chicken wrap, waffle fries, chicken fingers, haddock fingers, and turkey wrap. – CountyGirl81.
